Four hundred years after it locked up Galileo for challenging the view that the Earth was the center of the universe, the Vatican has called in experts to study the possibility of extraterrestrial alien life and its implication for the Catholic Church.
"The questions of life's origins and of whether life exists elsewhere in the universe are very suitable and deserve serious consideration, " said the Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, an astronomer and director of the Vatican Observatory.
Funes, a Jesuit priest, presented the results Tuesday of a five-day conference that gathered astronomers, physicists, biologists and other experts to discuss the budding field of astrobiology — the study of the origin of life and its existence elsewhere in the cosmos.
Funes said the possibility of alien life raises "many philosophical and theological implications" but added that the gathering was mainly focused on the scientific perspective and how different disciplines can be used to explore the issue.
Chris Impey, an astronomy professor at the University of Arizona, said it was appropriate that the Vatican would host such a meeting.
"Both science and religion posit life as a special outcome of a vast and mostly inhospitable universe," he told a news conference Tuesday. "There is a rich middle ground for dialogue between the practitioners of astrobiology and those who seek to understand the meaning of our existence in a biological universe."
Thirty scientists, including non-Catholics, from the U.S., France, Britain, Switzerland, Italy and Chile attended the conference, called to explore among other issues "whether sentient life forms exist on other worlds

A UFO mystery has been sparked after a flashing light was spotted on BBC breakfast television.
Viewers watched in amazement as the white probe-like object appeared on the Look North morning show.

It was described as "intriguing" and a "genuine mystery" by UFO expert Nick Pope.

The UFO was captured on a webcam on Tuesday as it passed over the Gateshead Millennium Bridge on the River Tyne.

Viewers spotted the object when pictures from the weather camera were used as a backdrop on the breakfast show behind presenter Colin Briggs.

Former MoD UFO investigator Mr Pope said: "At first I thought it was a bird, but the slowed down footage seems to rule this out. It's an intriguing film and a genuine mystery."

Microbes wakeup after 120000 yrs

After more than 120,000 years trapped beneath a block of ice in Greenland, a tiny microbe has awoken. The long-lasting bacteria may hold clues to what life forms might exist on other planets.

The new bacteria species was found nearly 2 miles beneath a Greenland glacier, where temperatures can dip well below freezing, pressure soars, and food and oxygen are scarce.

"We don't know what state they were in," said study team member Jean Brenchley of Pennsylvania State University. "They could've been dormant, or they could've been slowly metabolizing, but we don't know for sure."

Dormant would mean the bacteria were in a spore-like state in which there's not a lot of metabolism going on, so the bacteria wouldn't be reproducing much. It's possible the bacteria could have been slowly metabolizing and replicating.

"Microbes have found ways to survive in harsh conditions for long times that we don't yet fully understand," Brenchley told LiveScience.

To coax the bacteria back to life, Brenchley, Jennifer Loveland-Curtze and their Penn State colleagues incubated the samples at 36 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees Celsius) for seven months, followed by more than four months at 41 degrees F (5 degrees C).

The resulting colonies of the originally purple-brown bacteria, now named Herminiimonas glaciei, are alive and well.(from livescience )

Mysterious UFO sightings may go hand in hand with a puzzling natural phenomenon known as sprites — flashes high in the atmosphere triggered by thunderstorms.

The dancing lights have appeared above most thunderstorms throughout history, but researchers did not start studying them until one accidentally recorded a sighting on camera in 1989.

"Lightning from the thunderstorm excites the electric field above, producing a flash of light called a sprite," said Colin Price, a geophysicist at Tel Aviv University in Israel. "We now understand that only a specific type of lightning is the trigger that initiates sprites aloft."
Researchers have detected the flashes between 35 and 80 miles (56-129 km) from the ground, far above the 7 to 10 miles (11-16 km) where usual lightning occurs. Sprites can take the form of fast-paced balls of electricity, although previous footage has suggested streaks or tendrils.
The cause or function of the flashes remains murky, but Price suggested that they could explain some of the UFO reports which have cropped up over the years. That might provide some solace for UFO enthusiasts disappointed by human-caused hoaxes in the past.

Recently I read some articles about the mysterious Nazca Lines in Peru and it is so crazily interesting.I even saw a Documentary about the Nazca Linez which has really captivated people the world over.Could these geoglyphs be effigies of ancient animal gods or patterns of constellations? Are they roads, star pointers, maybe even a gigantic map? If the people who lived here 2,000 years ago had only a simple technology, how did they manage to construct such precise figures? Did they have a plan? If so, who ordained it? It all seems so otherworldly. To comprehend the Nasca lines, created by the removal of desert rock to reveal the pale pink sand beneath, visitors have proposed every imaginable explanation - from runways for spaceships to tracks for Olympic athletes, from op art to pop art, to astronomical observatories.

It is believed that the geoglyphs were built by a people called the Nasca- but why and how they created these wonders of the world has defied explanation.

As much as the lines awe us, we marvel equally at the imagination of the people who have sought explanations for them.

UFO activities rise in North India

Today,30th June, it is reported on the IBN News channel about a UFO sighting which lasted for two hours , near Mansa region ,Punjab,North India.A video footage showed a coloured ball of light, moving and hovering around the skies.
On May 27th a ball of fire came hurtling from the night skies and fell in a field adjacent to a petrol pump on Hoshiarpur-Tanda road in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, convincing owner Palwinder Singh that it’s a meteorite.

A month ago, a similar object had fallen in Hotipur village in Sangrur district, prompting a Geological Survey of India team to visit the site and examine it. The unidentified flying object fell in the field in Lachowal area of the district at 8.45 pm last Friday, when the petrol pump staff were emptying a diesel tanker, setting nearby bushes ablaze.

On seeing the fire, they rushed there and extinguished it.

UFO at Cardiff ?!

A police helicopter crew gave chase to a UFO after it almost collided with their aircraft near a military base in Cardiff(England).
The pilot was forced to bank sharply to avoid being hit by the mystery aircraft as the helicopter was returning to the Ministry of Defence base of St Athan, near Cardiff.

The three crew, who described the UFO as 'flying saucer-shaped', then gave chase, getting as far as the North Devon coast before they ran low on fuel, it was reported.

The police aircraft was hovering at 500ft and waiting clearance to land on June 7, when those onboard spotted the other craft hurtling towards them from below.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "We can confirm the Air Support Unit sighted an unusual aircraft. This was reported to the relevant authorities for their investigation."

It was reported that the aircraft closed in at great speed, aiming straight for the helicopter which swerved sharply.

The helicopter crew are said to have crossed the Bristol channel in pursuit of the UFO, but lost sight of it and had to turn back due to a fuel shortage.

The sighting comes weeks after the most comprehensive Government files on UFO activity are opened to the public for the first time today and they disclose that even air traffic controllers and police officers have seen mysterious craft in the skies over Britain.

Defence chiefs are investigating claims that the Romanian MIG 21 fighter plane was struck by 'strange objects'. The official report says the cockpit of the jet was shattered. Romanian defence ministry officials have ruled out all normal types of collision such as birdstrikes, ice or small meteorites. Chief investigator Commander Nicolae Grigorie said in the report: 'We can definitely say what this thing was not, but we cannot say what it was.' The impact on a training flight above Transylvania took only 67 milliseconds and was recorded on an in-flight video camera. It is something that can puzzle many. European Space Agency’s Venus Express spacecraft is keenly observing the south pole of Venus. Scientists found a startling phenomenon . It is 1400 mile vortex with an eye at the center.
The core of the vortex appears very bright, probably indicating a lot of atmospheric gases are moving downward in the region, which creates a depression at the cloud-tops, making the region hotter.

A secret common protocol exists that are honored by all the international space agencies. This became evident recently as China started implanting the manned lunar travel mission. Chinese engineers and aerospace scientists are reporting secretly that they just cannot do what they like. Invisible laws make their life harder. When asked, they are told that all the Space Agencies does that and China cannot be an exception either. Chinese aviation and space exploration achievements are remarkable but till this date China, it seems, never had to abide by these universal laws. But today China and Indian Space Agencies as they cross the boundary of actual Space, are told to follow protocols that are harder to follow, more expensive to implement but never the less a must for future space travel.
Many researchers say it is the extra-terrestrials in contact with the six Space-travel capable nations (US, Russia, France, Britain, China and India) set these invisible protocols and guidelines that must be “followed” by the Agencies.
If you track the use nuclear powered traction in Space, you will understand what we are talking about. Recently, China and India are going through a lot of redesign of thrust mechanisms to accommodate the same. Russian Aviation and Space Agency (RASA) and NASA both have communicated among themselves in terms of these protocols. You may guess why Americans went to Moon in 1969 and never again made a trip to land humans there? Russians gave up the idea all together? Europeans never attach a lot of importance in sending humans anywhere. And the Indians and Chinese are dancing right now. But most likely their enthusiasm will dampen once they are told by the same entities what they can do in moon. Once they understand that they will also decide – there is no use of wasting money on moon.Unmanned vehicles, probes are very common and are allowed but humans are not because human beings cannot be really sterilized in the sense made germless. The Mars Connection

We could have alien origins, say scientists who sent fossilized microscopic life-forms into space and back inside an artificial meteorite. The researchers attached the baseball-size rock to the outside of the European Space Agency's Foton M3 spacecraft to test whether biological material could survive the round-trip journey.
Sculpted from stone from the Orkney Islands in northern Scotland, the rock contained fossilized microbes and the molecular signatures of microbes.
The unmanned spacecraft was launched by rocket from Kazakhstan's Baikonur Cosmodrome carrying 43 experiments. The craft landed in Kazakhstan on September 26 after orbiting the planet for 12 days.
"In the bit of rock we got back, some biological compounds have survived," said project leader John Parnell from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
A rock measuring 2.8 inches (7 centimeters) across was fitted to the exterior of Foton M3."It was shielded when it went up into space but exposed when it came back," Parnell said.
The rock had similar properties to a type of meteorite known as a carbonaceous chondrite. Such meteorites contain water and carbon compounds, both essential to life.
"We wanted to see if a rock that was rich in carbon and water would suffer a lot of mass loss," Parnell said. "That was certainly the case. About three-quarters of the mass of our sample disappeared."
Living microbes probably wouldn't have survived in a meteorite this size because it reached temperatures of about 392 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius), the project leader said. But "if our rock was bigger, say 20 centimeters (about 8 inches) across, then we can be quite confident that [the] temperature would not penetrate to the middle, so that if anything had been living there, it would have survived."
The theory that says interplanetary organisms seeded life on different planets, such as Earth, is known as panspermia. If panspermia explains the origins of life on Earth, astrobiologists believe that Mars is the most likely source. For instance, studies suggest about 5 percent of meteorites from Mars eventually end up hitting Earth. The surface of Mars is quite inhospitable, due to dryness and low temperature, but one could conceive of subsurface life still being on Mars," he added. In the experiment, microbes were also dried onto the undersides of several artificial meteorites.
"This biological material didn't survive, but it may have been preserved, or its signatures may have been preserved," said STONE scientist Charles Cockell of the Open University in the United Kingdom. The rocks are still being analyzed, Cockell added.
"We know that life can make it from continent to continent, but what about from planet to planet?" he said. "Of course, at the moment we don't know of life on another planet, but this experiment is an intriguing test of an interplanetary version of an old ecological question."
David Morrison is a senior scientist at the NASA Astrobiology Institute in Moffett Field, California. Whether exchange of life has ever occurred following the meteorites' impact is a more complex question, but "we should be open to the possibility that there is microbial life on Mars that shares a common ancestor with Earth life," he said.
"It may not be likely, but we cannot exclude the possibility that we are, in effect, all Martians."

UFOs may be fodder for comedians but there was no joking when a group of former pilots recounted seeing strange phenomena in the sky and demanded the US government reopen an investigation into unidentified flying objects.
Several pilots offered dramatic accounts of witnessing UFOs -- including a transparent flying disc and a triangular craft with mysterious markings -- as they insisted their questions needed to be taken seriously more than 30 years after the US file was closed.
"We want the US government to stop perpetuating the myth that all UFOs can be explained away in down-to-earth, conventional terms," said Fife Symington, former governor of Arizona and air force pilot who says he saw a UFO in 1997.
Skeptics say UFO sightings are merely aircraft, satellites or meteors re-entering the Earth's atmosphere.
But the retired pilots spoke to a sympathetic audience of UFO "believers" who heard them recall their encounters with seemingly other-worldly objects appearing out of the sky.

"Nothing in my training prepared me for what we were witnessing," said James Penniston, a retired US Air Force pilot, as he described seeing and touching a UFO when he was stationed at a British air base in Woodbridge.
He said he saw an inexplicable triangular craft in a clearing in the woods with "blue and yellow lights swirling around the exterior."
The UFO was "warm to the touch and felt like metal," Penniston said. One side of the craft had pictorial symbols and "the largest symbol was a triangle, which was centered in the middle of the others," he said.
Then after 45 minutes the light from the object "began to intensify" and it then "shot off at an unbelievable speed" before 80 Air Force personnel, he said. "In my logbook, I wrote 'speed: impossible.'"
Rodrigo Bravo from Chile's air force said UFOs needed to be studied but lamented that the media often belittle the sightings.
"Sadly the UFO subject has been contaminated with false information, out of touch with reality, provided by unqualified people to the media," Bravo said.
"One of our most important civil aviation cases occurred in 1988, showing that unidentified flying objects can be a danger for air operations," he said.
"A Boeing 737 pilot on a final approach to the runway at the Puerto Montt airport suddenly encountered a large white light surrounded by green and red."
The pilot took a sharp turn to avoid a collision, according to Bravo.

The panel included a former Iranian fighter pilot, Parviz Jafari, who said in 1976 he tried in vain to fire from his jet at an "object which was flashing with intense red, green, orange and blue light" over Tehran.
But when he approached, "my weapons jammed and my radio communications garbled."
A former Air France captain, Jean-Charles Duboc, said in 1994 he and his crew saw "a huge flying disc" near Paris with a diameter of about 300 meters (1,000 feet) that left no sign on radar.
The disc "became transparent and disappeared in about 10 to 20 seconds," Duboc said.
A former official with the Federal Aviation Administration, John Callahan, said government agencies discourage inquiries into UFOs.
"'Who believes in UFOs?' is the kind of attitude of the FAA all the time," he said.
"However, when I asked the CIA person: 'What do you think it was,' he responded 'a UFO.'"
When Callahan suggested the government tell Americans about a UFO, the CIA official allegedly told him: "'No way, if we were to tell the American public there are UFOs they would panic.'"

A crater in Peru

Something strange happened in Peru. A fiery object fell from the sky. Stunned residents said they tracked it to a fresh hole in the earth that was more than 60 feet wide, 15 feet deep, filled with boiling water and steaming with noxious fumes.
The local officials confirmed through tests that a “rocky meteorite” created the crater. But meteorite experts all around the world disagree.
Russians are calling it as an American space war experimentation that went out of control. Pu238 is used as a power source for new generation American military satellites, that much is true. And Pu238 can cause water to boil. It also glows. Locals said in the early reports that the crater was glowing.
Water was seen boiling in the crater. Pu238 also causes radiation sickness when it combines with dust and is inhaled. Many local doctors in Peru reported symptoms that sound like radiation sickness.
But something more happened. The crater has started shrinking. That is the strangest thing ever seen. It is not terrestrial technology that creates and shrinks a crater. It does not seem to be an American satellite knocked down by the American space war experimentation as claimed by Pravda.
According to many scientific think-tank, it is an extraterrestrial UFO that has entered the earth’s crust to establish bases below the continental crust. They normally use the ocean. But this is perhaps first time in modern history the UFO has entered the crust in front of all open eyes.
People saw a fiery ball that struck the ground with astonishing speed. Scientific think tanks now say this phenomenon will repeat again and again from now on. The Peruvian mystery crater is the start of new era that can see the end of the world, as we know it between year 2012 and 2030.

One of Russia's central television channels, RTR, has recently aired a documentary about US astronauts who allegedly came across extraterrestrial civilizations. The film showed Russian ufologist Vladimir Azhazha and astronomer Yevgeny Arsyukhin telling that expeditions to the Moon launched within 1969-1972 allegedly came across UFOs.
The researchers state that flying objects of extraterrestrial origin were persistently spying on American Apollos. They said the expeditions to the Moon looked very much like a race and presented a film demonstrating a luminous object closely following an American spaceship. Records of communication between astronauts and the Mission Control Center were also included into the film but they were absolutely inaudible as they had been purposefully jammed by Americans. They expected that the expeditions would find something astonishing on the Moon and with the view of keeping their communication with the surface secret they encoded their messages to the MCC. When the records of communication were later deciphered it turned out that the US missions came across lunar bases, remains of space vehicles and deserted towns on the Moon.
The film stated that lunar creatures would not tolerate the presence of Earth dwellers for long. When Americans brought a dummy car to furrow Moon craters, the creatures living on the satellite began to demonstrate their furious protest against the US presence on the Moon. Filmmakers said that green dwellers of the Moon told Americans to go home as they wanted to keep secret the sublunar bases that they used to observe the life on the Earth. It was alleged that NASA was afraid of conflicting with a highly developed civilization and immediately stopped the program. Does the film sound believable?

Images captured from space pinpoint telltale signs of previous habitation in the swatch of land 200 miles south of Cairo, which digging recently confirmed as an ancient settlement dating from about 400 A.D. The find is part of a larger project aiming to map as much of ancient Egypt's archaeological sites, or "tells," as possible before they are destroyed or covered by modern development. "Based on the coins and pottery we found, it appears to be a massive regional center that traded with Greece, Turkey and Libya." Kongka La is the low ridge pass in the Himalayas.It is in the disputed India-China border area in Ladakh. In the map the red zone is the disputed area still under Chinese control in the Aksai Chin area. The Chinese held northeastern part is known as Aksai Chin and Indian South West is known as Ladakh. This is the area where Indian and Chinese armies fought major war in 1962. The area is one of the least accessed area in the world and by agreement the two countries do not patrol this part of the border. According to many tourists, Buddhist monks and the local people of Ladakh, the Indian Army and the Chinese Military maintain the line of control. But there is something much more serious happening in this area.
According to the few local people on the Indian and Chinese sides, this is where the UFOs are seen coming out of the ground, According to many, the UFO underground bases are in this region and both the Indian and Chinese Government know this very well.
Kongka La has beautiful rocks and granites. For some strange reasons neither the Chinese nor the Indian authorities ever excavate, dig or mine in this area. Though India claims that Aksai Chin is part of India, the common belief in the Government is that it is not a show stopper. On the other hand, Chinese after winning Aksai Chin from India in 1962 war, built a strategic military highway. Now they are using an alternate highway not to bother with the area in Kongka La.

Water-hydrogen peroxide mix stays liquid at very low temperatures, or -68 degrees Fahrenheit, and doesn't destroy cells when it freezes. "This kind of adaptation makes sense from a biochemical viewpoint," he said. He also said that the Viking experiments of the 1970s wouldn't have noticed hydrogen peroxide-based life and, in fact, would have killed it. One Viking experiment seeking life on Mars poured water on soil. That would have essentially drowned hydrogen peroxide-based life. Another experiment heated the soil to see if something would happen. That would have baked Martian microbes according to the scientist.

A group of researchers working at the Human Genome Project indicate that they made an astonishing scientific discovery: They believe so-called 97% non-coding sequences in human DNA is no less than genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms.

On Wednesday, January 10, at the American Astronomical Society Meeting, theorist Dr. Avi Loeb from Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics led a press conference on the search for ET. “Soon, we may be eavesdropping on signals from Galactic civilizations,” said Loeb. “This is the first time in history that humans will be capable of finding a civilization like ours among the stars.” Loeb asserts that the proposed search will find “leakage” from transmissions equivalent to our broadcast television or military radars. SETI Institute’s Project Phoenix and UC Berkeley’s SERENDIP have both had the technical capability to detect intentional signals—beamed at Earth—with the equivalent power to military radars. Loeb’s search would expand the frequency range over which searches are conducted.
Loeb and his co-author Matias Zaldarriaga (CfA) suggest looking for accidental leakage from an alien civilization. They point out that the new Mileura Wide-Field Array’s Low Frequency Demonstrator (MWA-LFD), which is designed to study frequencies of 80-300 Megahertz, will pick up the same frequencies used by Earth technologies. On Earth, military radars are the most powerful broadcast sources, followed by television and FM radio. If similar broadcast sources exist on other planets, facilities like MWA-LFD might detect them. A SETI program at the MWA-LFD would complement other SETI projects. It will observe a larger area of the sky over a longer period of time and in a different frequency range.

According to CBS news, the meteorite that crashed in northwest Canada almost seven years ago might have been able to host the very earliest life forms, according to NASA researchers, which opens the door to the possibility that life could be present elsewhere in the universe.
The Tagish Lake meteorite is unique. Tiny bubbles in the rock are organic globules where the universe's earliest life forms could have been able to live. The meteorite is 4.5 billion years old –older than the earth.
This meteorite is unique because it was recovered froze and some of these samples came to scientists still frozen.

"Either female komodo dragons are spermthecal, meaning that they have the ability to store sperm or fertilized eggs for long periods, in this case for two years, or they are parthogenetic, meaning that they are self-reproductive - they produce clones of themselves," one zoologist said. Of course a third theory could be that the offspring are the result of a paranormal spontaneous conception in an effort to repopulate the species.

The Loch Ness Monster

One of the prevailing theories for the Loch Ness monster is that, if it exists, it is most likely a dinosaur species that has survived to contemporary times. Specifically, it is thought to be the plesiosaur, a marine reptile that lived 160 million years ago. This is mainly because the typical description given by witnesses closely matches the appearance of that aquatic dinosaur. It sported long neck -- in many cases as long as its body and tail combined. That neck, as it turns out, is why scientists are now saying that Nessie could have never been a plesiosaur. A new study has determined that plesiosaurs used their long necks to reach down and feed on soft-bodied animals living on the sea floor. Calculating the articulation of the neck bones, scientists concluded the neck was flexible and could move easily when pointing down. However, the osteology of the neck makes it absolutely certain that the plesiosaur could not lift its head out of the water - as most pictures of Nessie show. Either the traditional sightings of the Loch Ness monster reaching it's head out of the water like a giraffe are incorrect, or the creature is not a plesiosaur.

Cattle Mutilation Phenomena, also called Bovine Excision, is the enigma presented when cattle have been found that are killed by an unexplained method and anatomically mutilated under anomalous conditions. One very important aspect of this phenomenon is the total absence of evidence of physical activity of any sort around the affected carcasses. Such lack of even footprints, tire tracks, or any ground disturbance indicates that some sort of aerial device has to be used. There is also evidence that the animals may have been dropped from considerable heights after the mutilations were performed.
The aerial aspect could also explain why there is no indication that the animals died as a result of predatory attacks or accidents. A very unusual natural deviation occurs at the carcass sites. Scavengers will not feed upon or even approach the carcasses despite the abundance of meat on the remains and often fresh condition of it. Any flies, a common aspect of carrion, are dead on the carcasses.
The animals chosen, horses, cattle, buffalo, and deer are all large and can have as much as four gallons of blood in a body weighing sometimes in excess of a thousand pounds. The carcasses are completely drained of every trace of blood, a condition known as exsanguination, and yet, not one drop of that blood is found around the body. Other body fluids are also conspicuously absent. The process of draining such a large body of all blood and fluids requires a lab setting and highly sophisticated equipment, something certainly not commonly found on cattle ranges and in forests. The process of removing all traces of those fluids from the body and the surrounding environment requires a technology not currently found on the planet.

Amazing Ashoka Pillar in India

Recently a small article by Joseph R Jochman caught my eye.
A testimony to ancient metallurgical skills in Delhi, India is called the Ashoka Pillar. Standing over 23 feet, it averages 16 inches in diameter and weighs about 6 tons. The solid wrought-iron shaft is made up of expertly welded discs. An inscription on the base is an epitaph to King Chandra Gupta II, who died in A.D. 413.
Despite being well over a millennium and a half in age, the Pillar's constitution is remarkably preserved. The smooth surface is like polished brass with only occasional instances of pock-marks and weathering. The mystery is that any equivalent mass of iron, subjected to the Indian monsoon rains, winds and temperatures for 1,600 years or more would have been reduced to rust long ago.
Production of the iron and the techniques of preservation are far beyond 5th century abilities. It is probably far older, maybe several thousand years. Who were the mysterious metallurgists who made this wonder, and what happened to their civilization?

It may sound strange to hear, but the first scientific acknowledgement of extraterrestrials may not come from a UFO landing on the White House lawn -- instead it seems likely that it may come from studying a blood-red rain that fell over India during the summer of 2001. For the study, anthropologists collected about 20 hours of conversations with Aymara people. The Aymara language recruits "nayra," the basic word for "eye," "front" or "sight," to mean "past" and "qhipa," the basic word for "back" or "behind," to mean ''future." Thus the expression "nayra mara" - which means "last year" - can be literally translated as "front year". They also refer to the future by thumbing or waving over their shoulders and swept forward with their hands and arms for now or the near past and farther out, to the full extent of the arm for ancient times.

Ancient Indian Aircrafts: Vimanas

I read a very indepth article about Aircraft Technology in Ancient India( Nexus -John Burrows).

In the Mahabharatra, an ancient Indian poem of enormous length, we learn that an individual named Asura Maya had a Vimana (Ancient Aircraft) measuring twelve cubits in circumference, with four strong wheels. The poem is a veritable gold mine of information relating to conflicts between gods who settled their differences apparently using weapons as lethal as the ones we are capable of deploying. Apart from 'blazing missiles', the poem records the use of other deadly weapons.
Sanskrit texts are filled with references to Gods who fought battles in the sky using Vimanas equipped with weapons as deadly as any we can deploy in these more enlightened times. For example, there is a passage in the Ramayana which reads: "The Puspaka car that resembles the Sun and belongs to my brother was brought by the powerful Ravan; that aerial and excellent car going everywhere at will .... that car resembling a bright cloud in the sky."

Many researchers into the UFO enigma tend to overlook a very important fact. While it assumed that most flying saucers are of alien, or perhaps Governmental Military origin, another possible origin of UFOs is ancient India and Atlantis. What we know about ancient Indian flying vehicles comes from ancient Indian sources; written texts that have come down to us through the centuries. The archaeological expedition, which carried out excavations near the Indian settlement of Mohenjo-Daro in the beginning of the 1900s, uncovered the ruins of a big ancient town. The town belonged to one of the most developed civilizations in the world. The ancient civilization existed for two or three thousand years. However, scientists were a lot more interested in the death of the town, rather than in its prosperity.
Researchers tried to explain the reason of the town's destruction with various theories. However, scientists did not find any indications of a monstrous flood, skeletons were not numerous, there were no fragments of weapons, or anything else that could testify either to a natural disaster or a war. Archaeologists were perplexed: according to their analysis the catastrophe in the town had occurred very unexpectedly and it did hot last long.
Scientists Davneport and Vincenti put forward an amazing theory. They stated the ancient town had been ruined with a nuclear blast. They found big stratums of clay and green glass. Apparently, archaeologists supposed, high temperature melted clay and sand and they hardened immediately afterwards. Similar stratums of green glass can also found in Nevada deserts after every nuclear explosion.
A hundred years have passed since the excavations in Mohenjo-Daro. The modern analysis showed, the fragments of the ancient town had been melted with extremely high temperature - not less than 1,500 degrees centigrade. Researchers also found the strictly outlined epicenter, where all houses were leveled. Destructions lessened towards the outskirts. Dozens of skeletons were found in the area of Mohenjo-Daro - their radioactivity exceeded the norm almost 50 times.
The great ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata, contains numerous legends about the powerful force of a mysterious weapon. One of the chapters tells of a shell, which sparkled like fire, but had no smoke. "When the shell hit the ground, the darkness covered the sky, twisters and storms leveled the towns. A horrible blast burnt thousands of animals and people to ashes. Peasants, townspeople and warriors dived in the river to wash away the poisonous dust. "

A very important characteristic of the patterned-crops phenomenon was the tendency of the configurations to become increasingly elaborate over time. They progressed from simple swirled circles to circles with rings and satellites, to still more complex patterns.
In 1990 came still more complex patterns, dubbed "pictograms." There were also free-form shapes (e.g., a "tadpole"-like design), a witty crop triangle, and the hilarious bicycle (see Hoggart and Hutchinson 1995, 59). There also appeared beautifully interlinked spirals, a Menorah, intricate "snowflake" and stylized "spider web" designs, elaborate "Torus Knot" and "Mandala" emblems, pentagram and floral patterns, and other distinctive formations, including an "Origami Hexagram" and several fractals (mathematical designs with a motif subjected to repeated subdivision)-all consistent with the intelligence of modern homo sapiens.
At the end of the decade came many designs that included decidedly square and rectilinear shapes, seeming to represent a wry response to the hypothesized swirling "vortex" mechanism.
A special characteristic of the cropfield phenomenon is its avoidance of being observed in action. It is largely nocturnal, and the designs even appear to specifically resist being seen, as shown by Operation White Crow. That was an eight-night vigil maintained by about sixty cereologists in June 1989. Not only did no circles appear in the field chosen for surveillance but-although there had already been almost a hundred formations that summer, with yet another 170 or so to occur-not a single circle was reported during the period anywhere in England. Then a large circle-and-ring formation was discovered about 500 yards away on the very next day!

It is unfashionable to discuss spiritual matters in the media. Notice how the news reporters would never dare to bring up the question of spiritual matters in a news report. If there are catastrophes in the world or any kind of problem, then we are told there is some "scientific explanation". But do we forget that "science" is itself only one facet of God’s creation? Science cannot explain everything, and not everything can be explained in terms of scientific equations. But the scientific deception wants to show us that either we must believe in science or God - but not both. This is a false assumption, for science itself is merely one facet of God’s creation, and therefore it only can be useful under a limited set of conditions. Once those conditions are exceeded, it is only the spiritual which can explain anything more. The system is trying very hard to make us give up our natural spiritual knowledge of God and put all our faith in science and the material realm. But we are admonished.....I am making the point that the present world order is attempting to deceive humanity into the false belief that science offers an alternative to God, and that anyone who falls back on spiritual assumptions is foolish or uneducated. The system is doing this because it wants to completely alter the belief system which is based on a religious spiritual interpretation of life. And I tell you that the most uneducated simpleton who has faith in God is more wise than the most brilliant scientist who is an atheist, because that which the simpleton believes in will exist forever, but that which the scientist has put his faith in is only temporary.

Men on the Moon and UFO

According to a recent television documentary, the first men to walk on the Moon reported seeing a UFO. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon's surface after Neil Armstrong, says space agency bosses covered up their sighting. He said: "There was something out there, close enough to be observed, and what could it be? Now, obviously the three of us weren't going to blurt out, 'Hey, Houston, we've got something moving alongside of us and we don't know what it is, you know?'" Aware of all the people who were listening in on the transmissions, the crew was concerned that "somebody might have demanded we turn back because of aliens or whatever the reason is." Instead, they asked Mission Control how far away the S-IVB was, the final stage of the rocket which had been jettisoned away 2 days earlier. After a few moments, Mission Control replied: "Apollo 11, Houston. The S-IVB is about 6,000 nautical miles from you now, over." To the crew, the object they were looking at clearly wasn't the S-IVB and they concluded 1) they weren't alone in space and 2) they weren't going to talk about it until they got back and were debriefed. To this day, whatever it was that the crew saw has never been positively identified or officially acknowledged.

Since the existence of the human race we had believed in an invisible being or entity of some sort. This thought has played a vital role in our various decision-making processes,our daily lives, comforting ailing or illnesses and emotions, protection from harm or fear, invoking physical harm against another human-being, sacrificial ceremonies to whomever, religious prayers, and so so many other forms. It is an universal truth that to believe or not believe are based on individualistic perspectives. This perspective is further based on educational, spiritual, religious and other major influences on each individual. Paranormal is a subject based on various possibilities. As you explore further, you will know more. But you need to have faith, a belief, rest will follow.
