EVP

Electronic voice phenomena - or EVP - is a mysterious event in which human-sounding voices from an unknown source are heard on recording tape, in radio station noise and other electronic media. Most often, EVPs have been captured on audiotape. The mysterious voices are not heard at the time of recording; it is only when the tape is played back that the voices are heard. Sometimes amplification and noise filtering is required to hear the voices. Some EVP is more easily heard and understood than others. And they vary in gender (men and women), age (women and children), tone and emotion. They usually speak in single-words, phrases and short sentences. Sometimes they are just grunts, groans, growling and other vocal noises. EVP has been recorded speaking in various languages. The quality of EVP also varies. Macavity Cat in London

Bus drivers have nicknamed a white cat Macavity after it has started using the No 331 several mornings a week. The feline, which has a purple collar, gets onto the busy Walsall to Wolverhampton bus at the same stop most mornings - he then jumps off at the next stop 400m down the road, near a fish and chip shop.The cat was nicknamed Macavity after the mystery cat in T.S Elliot's poem. He gets on the bus in front of a row of 1950s semi-detached houses and jumps off at a row of shops down the road which include a fish and chip shop.
Since January, when the cat first caught the bus he has done it two or three times a week and always gets on and off at the same stops.

Accidental killing of Martians?

NASA's theories concerning life on Mars have come along way since the Viking space probes that first spent time looking for life on the Red Planet in 1976-77. Mounting evidence all put proves that water once flowed there, a key component to life as we know it. There's even a scientist who speculates that we may have actually discovered life on Mars 30 years ago, but accidentally killed it. He says that the problem is that we have been looking for life as it evolved on Earth, not as it may have evolved in the atmosphere of Mars. He believes that life there most likely evolved with the key internal fluid consisting of a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide. Water-hydrogen peroxide mix stays liquid at very low temperatures, or -68 degrees Fahrenheit, and doesn't destroy cells when it freezes. "This kind of adaptation makes sense from a biochemical viewpoint," he said. He also said that the Viking experiments of the 1970s wouldn't have noticed hydrogen peroxide-based life and, in fact, would have killed it. One Viking experiment seeking life on Mars poured water on soil. That would have essentially drowned hydrogen peroxide-based life. Another experiment heated the soil to see if something would happen. That would have baked Martian microbes according to the scientist.

The Raynham Hall mansion was the home of the Townshend family for over 300 years.

ET Genes : Human DNA ! ! !

A group of researchers working at the Human Genome Project indicate that they made an astonishing scientific discovery: They believe so-called 97% non-coding sequences in human DNA is no less than genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms.
The non-coding sequences are common to all living organisms on Earth, from moulds to fish to humans. In human DNA, they constitute larger part of the total genome, says Prof. Sam Chang, the group leader. Non-coding sequences, originally known as "junk DNA", were discovered years ago, and their function remained a mystery. The overwhelming majority of Human DNA is “Off-world” in origin. The apparent “extraterrestrial junk genes” merely “enjoy the ride” with hard working active genes, passed from generation to generation.
After comprehensive analysis with the assistance of other scientists, computer programmers, mathematicians, and other learned scholars, Professor Chang had wondered if the apparently “junk Human DNA” was created by some kind of “extraterrestrial programmer”.

Further added that "Our hypothesis is that a higher extraterrestrial life form was engaged in creating new life and planting it on various planets. Earth is just one of them. Perhaps, after programming, our creators grow us the same way we grow bacteria in Petri dishes. We can’t know their motives - whether it was a scientific experiment, or a way of preparing new planets for colonization, or is it long time ongoing business of seedling life in the universe.”

SETI : ' Signals expected now'

On Wednesday, January 10, at the American Astronomical Society Meeting, theorist Dr. Avi Loeb from Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics led a press conference on the search for ET. “Soon, we may be eavesdropping on signals from Galactic civilizations,” said Loeb. “This is the first time in history that humans will be capable of finding a civilization like ours among the stars.” Loeb asserts that the proposed search will find “leakage” from transmissions equivalent to our broadcast television or military radars. SETI Institute’s Project Phoenix and UC Berkeley’s SERENDIP have both had the technical capability to detect intentional signals—beamed at Earth—with the equivalent power to military radars. Loeb’s search would expand the frequency range over which searches are conducted.
Loeb and his co-author Matias Zaldarriaga (CfA) suggest looking for accidental leakage from an alien civilization. They point out that the new Mileura Wide-Field Array’s Low Frequency Demonstrator (MWA-LFD), which is designed to study frequencies of 80-300 Megahertz, will pick up the same frequencies used by Earth technologies. On Earth, military radars are the most powerful broadcast sources, followed by television and FM radio. If similar broadcast sources exist on other planets, facilities like MWA-LFD might detect them. A SETI program at the MWA-LFD would complement other SETI projects. It will observe a larger area of the sky over a longer period of time and in a different frequency range.

Life out there : One more proof !

The world gets its first unquestionable proof of life far beyond the earth. According to CBS news, the meteorite that crashed in northwest Canada almost seven years ago might have been able to host the very earliest life forms, according to NASA researchers, which opens the door to the possibility that life could be present elsewhere in the universe.
The Tagish Lake meteorite is unique. Tiny bubbles in the rock are organic globules where the universe's earliest life forms could have been able to live. The meteorite is 4.5 billion years old –older than the earth.
This meteorite is unique because it was recovered froze and some of these samples came to scientists still frozen.
No one knows what is the source of the organic material in the meteorite. But one thing is for certain – those who question extraterrestrail life has to keep quiet this time. The proof is real and verifiable.

The Mothman : The Garuda ?

"On a chilly fall night in November 1966, two young couples drove into the TNT area north of Point Pleasent WestVirginia, when they realized they were not alone." So reads a plaque on a commemorative statue of Mothman. Reportedly, Mothman is a winged humanoid monster seen in West Virginia from November 1966 to December of the following year. His appearance coincided with strange lights, apparitions of Men in Black and various other UFO and paranormal phenomena. These events culminated in the collapse of the Silver Bridge across the Ohio River, leading many to believe that the appearance of Mothman was an omen that portends disaster. In fact, there is a curse associated with Mothman that has led to the death or ruin of many people who have witnessed or are otherwise involved in the Mothman legend. Author of The Mothman Prophecies, John Keel, suggested that the Mothman might an evil entity known as the "Garuda", a half-man, half-bird deity from ancient Hindu mythology.

Komodo Dragon : Self Reproductive?

Zoologists said they were delighted at the birth of four rare Komodo dragons, but that the births have them a bit confused. Komodo dragons are a badly endangered species with only a few of them left in the world. The mother Komodo, Sungai, normally lives at the Thoiry wildlife park, west of Paris, but was recently lent to a London zoo to breed with a male Komodo. Imagine the surprise of the zoologists, then, when Sungai laid the fertilized eggs before even meeting her British lover - and the last time she is known to have had intercourse was two years ago. "Either female komodo dragons are spermthecal, meaning that they have the ability to store sperm or fertilized eggs for long periods, in this case for two years, or they are parthogenetic, meaning that they are self-reproductive - they produce clones of themselves," one zoologist said. Of course a third theory could be that the offspring are the result of a paranormal spontaneous conception in an effort to repopulate the species.
That's a question.

The Loch Ness Monster

One of the prevailing theories for the Loch Ness monster is that, if it exists, it is most likely a dinosaur species that has survived to contemporary times. Specifically, it is thought to be the plesiosaur, a marine reptile that lived 160 million years ago. This is mainly because the typical description given by witnesses closely matches the appearance of that aquatic dinosaur. It sported long neck -- in many cases as long as its body and tail combined. That neck, as it turns out, is why scientists are now saying that Nessie could have never been a plesiosaur. A new study has determined that plesiosaurs used their long necks to reach down and feed on soft-bodied animals living on the sea floor. Calculating the articulation of the neck bones, scientists concluded the neck was flexible and could move easily when pointing down. However, the osteology of the neck makes it absolutely certain that the plesiosaur could not lift its head out of the water - as most pictures of Nessie show. Either the traditional sightings of the Loch Ness monster reaching it's head out of the water like a giraffe are incorrect, or the creature is not a plesiosaur.
But the important question is Whatever it is...Where is it?

"The word Naga is rooted in Sanskrit and means "serpent." In the East Indian pantheon it is connected with the Serpent Spirit and the Dragon Spirit.It has an equivalence to the Burmese Nats, or god-serpents. In the Esoteric
Tradition it is synonymous for Adepts, or Initiates. In India and Egypt, and even in Central and South America, the Naga stands for one who is wise.

"The [buddhist philosopher] Nagarjuna of India, for example, is shown with an aura, or halo, of seven serpents which is an indication of a very high degree of Initiation. The symbolism of the seven serpents, usually cobras, are also on Masonic aprons or certain systems in the Buddhist ruins of Cambodia (Ankhor) and Ceylon. The great temple-builders of the famous Ankhor Wat were
considered to be the semi-divine Khmers. The avenue leading to the Temple is lined with the seven-headed Naga. And even in Mexico, we find the "Naga" which becomes "Nagal." In China, the Naga is given the form of the Dragon and has a direct association with the Emperor and is known as the "Son of Heaven"... while in Egypt the same association is termed "King-Initiate." In the Western traditions we find the same ubiquity for the Naga, or Serpent. One simple example is the Ancient Greek Goddess, Athena. She is known as a warrior Goddess as well as the Goddess of Wisdom; her symbol being the Serpent as displayed on her personal shield. Of course, in Genesis the Serpent is a Naga who instructs the new infant (humanity) in what is called the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

In fact many there are quite a few Festivals celebrated in India based on ancient Hindu myths/beliefs worshiping the 'Naag Dev'.(Serpent God ).

Cattle Mutilation Phenomena !

Cattle Mutilation Phenomena, also called Bovine Excision, is the enigma presented when cattle have been found that are killed by an unexplained method and anatomically mutilated under anomalous conditions. No single example of a paranormal event is so physically bizarre or has such a negative economic impact on a specific industry. It is generally considered to have started with an anomalous mutilation in 1967 of a horse in Colorado,USA.
One very important aspect of this phenomenon is the total absence of evidence of physical activity of any sort around the affected carcasses. Such lack of even footprints, tire tracks, or any ground disturbance indicates that some sort of aerial device has to be used. There is also evidence that the animals may have been dropped from considerable heights after the mutilations were performed.
The aerial aspect could also explain why there is no indication that the animals died as a result of predatory attacks or accidents. A very unusual natural deviation occurs at the carcass sites. Scavengers will not feed upon or even approach the carcasses despite the abundance of meat on the remains and often fresh condition of it. Any flies, a common aspect of carrion, are dead on the carcasses.
The animals chosen, horses, cattle, buffalo, and deer are all large and can have as much as four gallons of blood in a body weighing sometimes in excess of a thousand pounds. The carcasses are completely drained of every trace of blood, a condition known as exsanguination, and yet, not one drop of that blood is found around the body. Other body fluids are also conspicuously absent. The process of draining such a large body of all blood and fluids requires a lab setting and highly sophisticated equipment, something certainly not commonly found on cattle ranges and in forests. The process of removing all traces of those fluids from the body and the surrounding environment requires a technology not currently found on the planet.

The REPTILIAN alien

The ancient traditions and scriptures from different continents talk about a race of serpent beings endowed with superhuman powers. The scriptural and folkloric resources are used to present more complete picture of them and their ancient and recent interaction with humans.
There has been an unprecedented increase of interest in UFO and paranormal issues in official media. Some consider this to be a result of leaks from the intelligence community. Hybrid Race in the making ?

Alien abductions serve multiple purposes, and this is one of them. Presently, the hybrid breeding program is virtually finished. Hybrids look human, but lack our aforementioned qualities that make us liable to resist an overt alien presence. Some are already being silently integrated into the population. A few are being unwittingly born into human families, others will be introduced in mass numbers later this decade when they reach child-bearing age.
Some hybrids among us are already being passed off as "Indigo Children," though not all Indigo Children are hybrids. The hybrids most successfully following their intended programming act like little psychopaths, have contempt for humans, and possess acute intellectual and psychic powers to support their ambitions. It is these qualities that make them fit for eventually ruling over humanity in obedience to their alien superiors.

Maybe it's true

Magnetic and geologic surveys of many areas throughout the world have revealed magnetic anomalies that could not be produced by any natural or known phenomena. These transient magnetic anomalies have been recorded, indicating synchronous aerial magnetic anomalies have a multidimensional para physical place of origin, in terms of a different level of reality, where stability and solidity are being fuelled by a ceaseless process of subatomic particles, constantly dissolving into an implicit order, and then re-crystallizing within our space. Extraterrestrial biological entities may be using technologies and aspects of the physical universe that are beyond our current understanding to conceal their behavior, culture, appearance, and occasionally revealing their presence in our measurable space-time by making frequency shifts that leave traces of field flux, in certain energy spectra, allowing us to witness their presence.Organizations (Project Phoenix and the BETA 2 Group) on earth have confirmed signals, using narrow band spectral analyzers, privately stating that the signals received, exhibited enough source information to determine and confirm an intelligent agent created them. The signals show language like structures, proofing "alien" intelligence to human life. The government has decided to suppress this information from the general public due to the widespread consequences, affecting all groups of society. Governments are scared of what this extraterrestrial contact information would mean to the different cultures on earth. They fear a breakdown in social order, a 'complete' breakdown in conventional religion. They even fear loss of control over the masses.

Amazing Ashoka Pillar in India

Recently a small article by Joseph R Jochman caught my eye.
A testimony to ancient metallurgical skills in Delhi, India is called the Ashoka Pillar. Standing over 23 feet, it averages 16 inches in diameter and weighs about 6 tons. The solid wrought-iron shaft is made up of expertly welded discs. An inscription on the base is an epitaph to King Chandra Gupta II, who died in A.D. 413.
Despite being well over a millennium and a half in age, the Pillar's constitution is remarkably preserved. The smooth surface is like polished brass with only occasional instances of pock-marks and weathering. The mystery is that any equivalent mass of iron, subjected to the Indian monsoon rains, winds and temperatures for 1,600 years or more would have been reduced to rust long ago.
Production of the iron and the techniques of preservation are far beyond 5th century abilities. It is probably far older, maybe several thousand years. Who were the mysterious metallurgists who made this wonder, and what happened to their civilization?

There’s a protocol that outlines the activities to be followed by any individual or organization that finds an extraterrestrial signal. In short, this document, constructed by an international group of SETI scientists, boils down to the following action plan in case of a suspected transmission from an alien world:
First, the discoverers should verify that the signal is really extraterrestrial and artificial, not man-made interference or natural, cosmic static. Having done so, those who made the discovery are to notify all the other signatories to the document so that they can independently proceed to check it. They should also inform national authorities. Next on the list of those notified are all the world’s astronomers, so that every available telescope can be used to study the source of the signal. And then there’s this, verbatim from the protocol; namely that the detection “should be disseminated promptly, openly, and widely through scientific channels and public media…”

Voodoo and Zombie ! (A new explaination)

An ex­pla­na­tion for “voodoo zom­bie­fi­ca­tion,” a prod­uct of Hai­tian folklo­re sug­gests that zom­bies arise when a sor­cer­er places an evil spell on an en­e­my. Some re­search­ers re­viewed the case of a Hai­tian ad­o­les­cent who was pro­nounced dead by a lo­cal doc­tor af­ter a week of great con­vul­sions.Af­ter the boy was bur­ied, he re­turned in an in­co­her­ent state, and Hai­tians said a sor­cer­er had re­s­ur­rec­t­ed him as a zom­bie. Scientists attribute the incident to a tox­ic sub­stance called tetrodotox­in, found in a puffer­fish breed na­tive to Hai­tian wa­ters. Con­tact with the sub­stance gen­er­al­ly re­sults in rap­id death. How­ev­er, in some cases, the right dose pro­duces a state that mim­ics death and slows vi­tal signs to un­mea­s­ur­a­ble lev­els. Even­tu­al­ly, the vic­tim snaps out of the death-like co­ma. Anal­y­sis has shown that ox­y­gen dep­ri­va­tion could ex­p­lain the boy’s brain dam­age and in­co­her­ent state, Ef­thi­mi­ou said: thus, “it would seem that zom­bie­fi­ca­tion is noth­ing more than a skill­ful act of poi­son­ing.”

Aliens' rain in India ?!

It may sound strange to hear, but the first scientific acknowledgement of extraterrestrials may not come from a UFO landing on the White House lawn -- instead it seems likely that it may come from studying a blood-red rain that fell over India during the summer of 2001. The case is continuing to become stronger that the red-tinged rain may have contained alien microbes. Scientists at the Mahatma Gandhi University in India have isolated strange, thick-walled, red-tinted cell-like structures about 10 microns in size. Stranger still, dozens of experiments suggest that the particles may lack DNA yet still reproduce plentifully, even in water superheated to nearly 600˚F. (The known upper limit for life in water is about 250˚F.) The scientists believe these may be extraterrestrial microbes that hitched a ride on a comet or meteorite that later broke apart in the upper atmosphere and mixed with rain clouds above India. If the theory proves correct, the cells would be the first confirmed evidence of alien life and, as such, could yield tantalizing new clues to the origins of life on Earth.
